Wayne Enright

Wayne Enright

Wayne’s background is in physical education, biology & health counselling. He has been working in the field of wellness promotion and adventure-based experiential learning for over 25years and volunteering as a bush adventure therapy guide for 10years with Operation Flinders Foundation. Wayne is co-founder with his partner Gabrielle, and director of Free Spirit True North, an Adelaide-based organisation that specialises in  leadership, team and personal development, wellness retreats and adventure journeys. Wayne has a passion for personal development using nature-based experiences and is author of The Spirit of Adventure Calls – A Compass for life, Learning & Leadership and True North Quest (a companion reflection journal). Married and parent to two young men, he enjoys time relaxing at home in the garden with family and their ‘therapy dog’ Tom when not on an adventure. Wayne is currently South Australian AABAT Rep, member of Outdoor Educators Association of SA and serves on the Clinical Advisory Committee for the Operation Flinders Foundation. Part of Wayne’s personal mission is to assist in the development of nature-based experiential journeys as an integral part of mainstream healthcare across a diversity off age groups with a focus on promoting wholistic well-being.
